Dr. Samantha Shapiro attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and certificates in both laser dentistry and public health. She furthered her education by completing a residency program at Kings County Hospital. Dr. Shapiro is committed to the highest quality of care and stays updated with the latest advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Samantha Shapiro’s passion for dentistry began in college when she shadowed an Oral Surgeon and learned about all things teeth. After finishing her time at Washington University in St. Louis, she attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and certificate in public health with a dental emphasis.
While in dental school, she dedicated herself to community service, including working Give Kids a Smile and providing outreach to in-need populations in community health centers in Arizona, Maryland, Texas, and Washington. She then furthered her education by completing a general practice residency program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
As a dentist, Dr. Shapiro is dedicated to the highest quality of comprehensive care and is committed to treating every patient like family. She is Invisalign and laser certified and enjoys learning about the latest dental technologies through continuing education courses. Dr. Shapiro’s number one focus is on patient satisfaction. She ensures a positive and welcoming environment by being attentive and mindful of individual needs. Her goal is to create a healthier, more esthetic, and confident smile.
In her free time, Dr. Shapiro enjoys spending time with family and friends and reading as many books as possible. She loves trying new restaurants and is always on the hunt for an adventure in traveling.
